Recovery - dGEN1 Burner Card

Included in your dGEN1 package, you received a recovery Burner Card, which acts as a recovery mechanism for your dGEN1 wallet.

In the dGEN1 Onboarding, you will be prompted to tap your burner card on the NFC chip behind the camera. The card prompts the dGEN1 wallet address to be created, and the burner card can be used anytime to recover your funds on the device, just like you would with a seed phrase.

To recover your dGEN1 wallet:

1. Tap your Burner Card with NFC on your phone

2. Follow the prompts through to setup:

   1. Select "generate a key" which just connects the burner address you originally setup

   2. Type your pin code you entered in the onboarding flow

   3. Optionally set a nickname or a free ENS subdomain for your burner card

   4. This card is all setup to recover now

3. Head to https://recovery.freedomfactory.io on your phone

4. Tap to connect your Burner card

5. That's it! You're now able to recover your funds from the dGEN1 wallet.
